Manifesto

Only those who are crazy enough to think they can change the world, actually do.

Only those who are crazy enough to think they can change the world, actually change it.

This is how an epochal commercial ended: it was by Apple Computer, and everyone remembers it as “Think different”. The year was 1997. A few years later, in 2005, Steve Jobs would reiterate that concept to students at Stanford University, cutting it into four words: “Stay hungry, stay foolish”. Stay hungry, stay foolish. We are not Apple, obviously. But we are crazy, and we want to change the world. With technology.

You might say: “Well, you know what’s new, technology has already changed our world”. You’re absolutely right. But if we stop to think about how it is perceived, technology looks like Moloch.

If you read the Bible, you’ll easily understand that Moloch is not a friend. Without bothering with the sacred texts, just know that it is the symbol of powers and forces that require enormous sacrifices, perceived as inevitable or unstoppable. How many times have you felt that technology was asking too much of you? Too much time, too much attention, too many skills (that you don’t have)? How many times have you felt that it was doing what it wanted, and not what you asked for?

And now, what about Artificial Intelligence? With all those who say that it will take away our jobs, the power to decide and the meaning of being human?

Here, let’s stop for a moment. And let’s put things back in order. First of all, technology is a tool at the service of the person. It transforms your world, of course. But like a carpenter transforms a tree into a wardrobe, or a sculptor transforms stone into a work of art, you decide what technology should do for you. And we help you understand it. Simply, in understandable words (we don’t ask you for a degree in computer science, or even in ancient literature). If experience is the sum of lessons learned from the past, we want to share those lessons with you.

"

But be careful: we are not experts in everything. In fact, we know how important it is to copy. After all, no one invents anything from nothing: everything moves, everything is constantly changing. But we know how to create ideas from that movement, and how to translate them into practical tools. With a touch all our own.

Then we love honesty. We are ready to tell you honestly the things we don't agree with. And we love ethics. If we have made mistakes, we will tell you openly and apologize.

As for money: we don't beat around the bush, it's important. That's why we know we are worth it and if there is a cousin who does the same job for a thousand euros, well, then choose him. However, it is right that you know the following: we are willing to invest in projects that we are passionate about; - we do not promise what we cannot do, but we do what we say we can do; - we are not a bank, that calls you if there is a red in the account: we are flexible in payments and always attentive to your needs; - we see customers as people, not as paying entities;

"
And finally, there is Mother Earth. She is the only planet we are allowed to live on, so we take care of her.
"

And finally, there is Mother Earth. She is the only planet we are allowed to live on, so we take care of her. We are committed to carbon neutrality, and we use servers and software efficiently to minimize CO2 emissions. In short, we have cleaned up and put things back in their place. A place where trust is more important than the form of a contract; a place where work is properly structured; a place where technology is always the most up-to-date; a place where relationships are what matter most.

If you think like us and are looking for someone who will give everything they have to make amazing projects together, then you too are part of Web Devotion.

Welcome aboard.
